2023: High speed trains connecting Delhi with cities in UP, Haryana, Rajasthan running at 100 km/h


By the year 2023, there will be a rapid rail connecting Delhi with its adjoining cities. The NCR planning board is taking help from the DMRC for this massive project. According to reports by Nirmal Singh Lotus Green, once the rapid transit system is operational, people from Meerut will reach Indira Gandhi Airport in very little time.

According to sources at Nirmal Singh Lotus Green, the trains will be running at an average speed of 100 km/h and are expected to be operational by 2023. The Delhi-Alwar route is part of a network of three priority RRTS lines. It is the longest route in the link, which stretches to about 180 km. The links are envisaged to bring people from cities of Haryana, UP and Rajasthan lying at about a close distance from the National Capital within a one-hour or two-hour train journey. The other two priority lines on the link are Delhi-Meerut and Delhi-Panipat. The rapid transit rail system will interconnect various important cities in the states of Haryana, UP and Rajasthan.

These trains will run on Meerut, Alwar, and Panipat routes.
Alwar-Delhi line be of 180 km
Delhi-Panipat line to be of 111 km
Meerut-Delhi line will be 90 km
Trains will have 6 to 12 coaches.
Average speed will be 100kmph.
Total length will be 381 kmph.
Kashmiri Gate, Sarai Kale Khan, Anand Vihar, Airport, Iffco chowk, Mohan Nagar will be big transit points
Bus stands and metro stations will be connected to the rapid rail
