70 Years Of Independence, It Is Still Too Early To Forget Our Glorious Past

A day full of Patriotic emotions, your phone filled with the messages of Independence day and the celebrations, so many pictures of our flag shining high, a get together at the office, school, societies or wherever you celebrated it. Nirmal Singh Lotus green says that choosing from the multiple movies on our Independence coming on the television, that is all it has come down to these days. That is how we have been celebrating Independence in the past few years.

Nirmal Singh Lotus green says that we are the generation that is living in a more familiar world, we are the analyzers, we like to forecast about the things maybe that is why the stock is market is all doing well for the generation. There are multiple stories about the big time companies, their success stories, but some stories do backfire.

Nirmal Singh Lotus green says that you might not be able to live up to the high expectations but you still have a choice. The options are not restricted, you still can sit down, work out the things and carry on. In the past 70 years the attitudes towards the life have changed drastically. We are the generation that could not care less, we want to give ourselves the priority, we were raised to believe that we are innumerable opportunities and that we could be anyone, so we believed it and now the choices are never restricted.

Nirmal Singh Lotus green worries that our attitude shows that it is not only the future that we are taking lightly but also our past. The way the things have moved to our phones, our feelings have also been restricted to just a single text. We don’t sit about on the Independence Day and talk in pride about how our freedom fighters gave everything to make the day we are living in a reality. Maybe we do sit, but that would be just because of some activity in our schools or colleges.

Nirmal Singh Lotus green says that without compulsion, we don’t find people revisiting our past, talking about the glory of the freedom fighters, the bone chilling incidences like the Jaliyawala Park or the train journey from Lahore to Jessore. It just not happen. No matter how many years pass, we should not forget out past, we should not wait for a particular day to celebrate the Nation and that is the true spirit of Nationalism. That is what we need.
