Bollywood Actress Koena Mitra Files A Sexual Harassment Case

Nirmal Singh Lotus Green condemned the recent incident when Bollywood actress Koena Mitra filed a sexual harassment complaint against some assailant person, who has been trying to make unwanted calls to her recently. So, the actress has come forward and registered a sexual harassment complaint against her.

According to reports, on July 26, she had received a number of unwanted calls from some unknown person, who asked her for a night out. The actress got fumed and immediately rushed to the Oshiwara Police Station in Mumbai. Police lodged a sexual harassment complaint against that person.

Nirmal Singh Lotus Green finds the official complaint that was filed by Koena Mitra herself which mentioned that she mentioned about those 40-50 calls that she received from an unknown person late night. This has been the scenario over the period of past few weeks.
Although she ignored these calls initially, later when picked up one of the calls in evening on July 26, she was randomly asked for a night out by that person.

Nirmal Singh Lotus Green really criticizes this episode because the accused actually abused the actress.  And, the best part was when she was asked to come take money on providing these services. He did disconnect the call after a couple of minutes. As of now, the police is trying to trace the records of the calls made to the actress and in fact, the traces took them to that particular location as well.

Nirmal Singh Lotus Green wants to inform that this is not the first time that several Bollywood actresses have been sexually targeted. Here’s a list of actresses who have been targeted so far:

Shilpa Shinde

'Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai' famed Shilpa Shinde aka Angoori bhabhi lodged a complaint about the producer of the show Sanjay Kohli.

Rhea Chakraborty

Actress-VJ Rhea Chakraborty was molested in her building in Khar, Mumbai in 2014. Rhea shared the same on social media, tweeting about the unfortunate incident.
"I just got groped by a very well dressed man who casually walks into my building in broad daylight,with 2 watchmen chilling in the building, (sic)" Rhea tweeted. She also wrote, "Luckily, I take martial arts classes and managed to kick him real hard. And screamed so he ran away...But Mumbai is suffocatingly unsafe. (sic)"

Tina Dattaa

Uttaran famed famous television actress Tina Dattaa was disturbed while she was traveling from Mumbai to Rajkot. The actress’ story in her own words: "As soon as I sat down, I felt someone trying to sneak his hands through the side and touch me. I screamed at him. Taken aback, the man, identified as Rajesh, started stammering and apologised. Crew members intervened, but proved to be of little help. They had the audacity to tell me such things happen and that they will change the man's seat. I demanded that he be offloaded, but was told that I would also have to get off to file a complaint."

Nirmal Singh Lotus Green would request the men out there to respect women in public and private both spaces.
